Since 2010, our Herbal Essences manufacturing sites around the world have reduced our total absolute energy by about 9% and total absolute gas emissions by more than 15%. Most of our sites are also certified Zero Manufacturing Waste to Landfill which means that through composting, recycling and energy recovery programs product and waste are diverted from landfills. Additionally, We are honoured to be recognised as a cruelty free brand by PETA. Cruelty free means our products and ingredients will not be tested on animals. Herbal Essences and PETA have shared scientific beliefs in non-animal alternative tests and have partnered for decades to promote the use of these non-animal alternative tests. We are excited to gain PETA cruelty free endorsement as a direct reflection of our long-standing commitment to end animal testing
